How you can use our resources
By using Down the Hall Resources ("the site"), you agree to these terms. We've kept them short and reasonable.
Free resources
A large portion of our library is free to access with no account required. Free resources may be downloaded, printed, and used as described below.
Premium resource bundles
Some resources may be offered as Premium bundles available for a one-time purchase. By purchasing a bundle, you agree to the pricing presented at checkout. Premium bundles are for your own download and use as described below — they are not subscriptions, and there is no recurring billing. Because these are digital downloads, purchases are generally non-refundable once access has been granted, except where required by law.
What you can do with any resource
- Download, print, and use resources for personal, educational, or program use
- Share printed copies with staff, caregivers, or individuals you support
- Use resources in day programs, group homes, schools, and community settings
- Adapt resources for individual needs (e.g. fill in a name, adjust a schedule)
What you cannot do
- Sell, resell, or charge others for access to any resource from this site
- Claim our resources as your own original work or remove our branding
- Share Premium bundles with others who haven't purchased them, or redistribute them publicly
- Redistribute resources through another website or platform without permission
- Use resources in a way that is harmful to individuals with disabilities or their caregivers
Intellectual property
All worksheets, activities, and content on this site are created by or for Down the Hall Resources and are protected by copyright. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use these materials as described above.
Changes to the site
We may add, remove, or update resources and pages at any time. We'll do our best to keep things consistent and useful, but we don't guarantee any specific resource will always be available.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be handled in the jurisdiction where Down the Hall Resources operates.
What we collect and why
Your privacy matters. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this site and what we do with it.
Information you give us
If you fill out the contact form on this site, we collect the information you enter — your name, email address, role, and message. We use this only to respond to your message. We do not add you to any mailing list or share your information with third parties.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, basic technical information may be logged when you visit — such as your browser type and general location (country or region). This is handled by our hosting provider (Netlify) and is used only for site performance and security. We do not use this to identify you personally.
Cookies & advertising
This site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. This may include personalized ads based on your browsing activity, or non-personalized ads if you have not consented to personalization.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, or by visiting www.aboutads.info to opt out of third-party vendor cookies generally. Netlify, our hosting provider, may also set basic functional cookies required to serve the site — these do not track your browsing behavior.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use this site — for example, which worksheets are downloaded most often, which categories are browsed, and how the worksheet generators are used. Google Analytics may use cookies to collect information such as your approximate location (country or region), device and browser type, and the pages and resources you interact with. This information is aggregated and used only to help us improve the site and decide what resources to create next — we do not use it to identify you personally.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Donations
If you choose to support this project, the "Donate" button on our Support page takes you to Ko-fi, a separate website where you can choose to make a voluntary contribution. We do not collect, see, or store any payment information — Ko-fi and its payment processors (such as PayPal) handle this directly under their own privacy policies. We only see that a donation was made, not your personal or payment details.
